Points To Ponder 

The 47th President of the United States has recently released individuals from prison who will now be awaiting further instructions. The President has a Congress that will approve his cabinet to run the country for the next four years. He has influenced wealthy individuals to participate in his plans, potentially affecting their ability to manage independent social media platforms.

The President has been clear about his intent to change America, as outlined in the document Project 2025, which details plans for restructuring the United States government and agencies.

Within the first week in office, the President has utilized the military to address the situation at the border. All Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion (DEI) language and actions have been removed from federal government websites and work areas. Individuals in charge of these programs within the government have been placed on furlough, and businesses are encouraged to do the same. The Coast Guard Service Chief has been dismissed for supporting DEI and is blamed for inadequate border support, despite Congress not passing a bill to improve border security. The President is targeting immigrants regardless of their status in the US, with no sanctuary in churches, hospitals, or schools.

The President has declared that there are only two genders, affecting trans individuals by invalidating their identifications, passports, and birth certificates. Continuous treatment and surgery will be limited, putting their lives and safety at risk.

Research communication and information regarding adverse effects of treatments are to cease, with no further research proceeding until reviewed. Experimental drug treatments are halted, and individuals are at risk of losing their lives as they are denied life-saving medications.

It is important to remain vigilant, support legal organizations that will fight through the courts, and prevail. Resist, be outspoken, and support fellow humans with charity and kindness.  GC 1-25
